High above the emerald canopy, an eagle soared—wings wide, eyes sharp as polished stone. The wind was his companion, the sky his realm. Below him stretched endless forest, a sea of green rolling with secrets and shade. Yet he was not hunting. Not today.

Today, he searched a place to rest.

He glided through clouds, dipped between sunbeams, and studied every branch and bough. Trees rose like ancient giants, each offering their limbs in silent invitation. But none felt quite right until he saw tucked between a river’s bend and a hillside golden with moss, there stood a tree unlike any other. Its bark shimmered silver-green in the light, and from its branches spilled soft blossoms the color of young fern—fresh and delicate, glowing faintly with morning dew.

The eagle circled once, then descended.

He landed gently, his talons brushing bark as soft as memory. The fern-green flowers swayed in welcome, releasing a cool, earthy fragrance that spoke of rain and time. And from this perch, the highest of hearts looked out upon the world—not as a hunter, but as a king content in his chosen sanctuary.

The vintage jeweled eagle perched above a seaweed agate stone framed by rings of rhinestones and pearls. The eagle is loved and surrounded by cluster of fern green crystal blossoms, floating rhinestones, pearls and vintage foliage The brooch is finished with 14kt gold-filled wire.

This lapel pin was crafted to celebrate the 250th Anniversary of the USA.
